“For most, the last few months are traditionally some of the quieter months of the year. However, they have been some of our busier months here at MyTrucking this year. The team has been busy building some exciting new features for our customers, which will be available in the next few months. More to come on this soon.
As we head towards the summer months we look forward to the warmer weather, ideally warmer economic conditions, and catching up with you all.”
Xero’s ‘Featured Apps’ collection this month
Every month Xero features apps that are popular with Xero users and the Xero team for their great benefits and customer experience. We’re excited to be featured in Xero’s ‘Featured Apps’ collection this month!
One of the many benefits of MyTrucking is the full integration with Xero, making invoicing a breeze. MyTrucking designed the Xero Integration to make it super simple to get invoices from MyTrucking into Xero.
Alongside being Xero’s app of the month, we’ve collaborated with Xero on our latest partner story! Our customer, TGR Transport, has expanded to become a primary contractor for major grain traders in Australia. TGR’s success is partly driven by their willingness to embrace new technologies and innovations, removing inefficiencies with the help of apps like MyTrucking and Xero.

New features:
- Show Returned Jobs: Designed for drivers and dispatchers, this feature allows drivers to see their returned jobs on the driver app. It’s perfect for when you need to add a docket number that was missed, or for dispatchers requesting more details.
- Multi-Leg: This feature allows you to have multiple legs and destinations for one job. It helps set up your loads in a way that more closely replicates real-world scenarios, eliminating the need for imperfect workarounds.
- Custom reports: Now available on our popular custom reports/report builder. A big thanks to our customers for requesting this – we love better efficiency!
What’s coming next:
- Mobile app: Face and thumb print recognition. An exciting enhancement to speed up efficiency and security.
- Mobile app: The ability to switch logins. This will be a brilliant enhancement for contractors to multiple companies.
- Inter-MyTrucking: The ability to share jobs between other companies that use MyTrucking. This is also useful for your subbies doing work for multiple companies and enables you to get your paperwork back in real-time.
- Refreshed day sheet: Our day sheet is having a bit of a restructure to work in well with Inter-MyTrucking. It will enable future enhancements and added speed moving forward.
- Calendar day sheet view: One of the top requested features is the ability to view your day sheet in a scheduler or calendar view.

Team updates
Our team continues to grow! Robbie Duncan and Donna Hintz have joined our sales and support team, while Jay Liyanapathirana has joined our product team. Sarah Macdonald is back from maternity leave, assisting the marketing team.
The support team has been out and about across New Zealand over the winter. Taupo, Otago, Southland, Auckland, Canterbury, Te Puke, Franklin, Tauranga, Hastings, Napier, Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Carterton, Christchurch – to name a few. Nikola, our Victoria Sales and Accounts Manager, has also been road-tripping around Victoria and hitting lots of industry events along the way.
