Learn how Quarry Mining Haulage has found MyTrucking to be one of the best things they’ve done as a business.
QMH is a proud Western Downs company providing heavy haulage and transport services in Queensland and New South Wales, Australia.
With 14 staff and seven trucks, the business has blossomed since starting in 2019 with Manager Piet Rycks at the helm. With a focus on general freight, heavy haulage and commodity transport, the business has its customers at the heart of everything they do.
Before MyTrucking, they used an Excel Spreadsheet to schedule jobs and paper dockets for recording completed jobs. Like many transport businesses, getting paperwork back was often a mission – if trucks weren’t coming back to the yard, they could be waiting up to 2 weeks to receive dockets back and sometimes paperwork would go missing.
MyTrucking was the third digital platform QMH trialled after coming across an advertisement. The big draw card for Piet was that MyTrucking was designed alongside transport operators. He felt it would offer over and above what the other programmes had.
Piet found the switch to MyTrucking very easy. From a management perspective, they were all over it in just a couple of days. They trialled the programme selectivity to test its benefits before rolling it out across the business.
“We had some resistance with some drivers for a brief period but once we pushed past the change and they got used to the digital platform, the rest was easy”.
“Everywhere!! In the office, being able to add jobs and invoice quicker saves us so much time.”
“The drivers like the program because they can see what jobs they are doing in advance and have all the information they require at their fingertips.”
“Highly recommend it! It’s been one of the best things we have done as a business.”
MyTrucking is designed to assist transport operators with job management workflow.
