QMH is a proud Western Downs company providing heavy haulage and transport services in Queensland and New South Wales, Australia.

With 14 staff and seven trucks, the business has blossomed since starting in 2019 with Manager Piet Rycks at the helm. With a focus on general freight, heavy haulage and commodity transport, the business has its customers at the heart of everything they do.

How was your workflow managed previously?

Before MyTrucking, they used an Excel Spreadsheet to schedule jobs and paper dockets for recording completed jobs. Like many transport businesses, getting paperwork back was often a mission – if trucks weren’t coming back to the yard, they could be waiting up to 2 weeks to receive dockets back and sometimes paperwork would go missing.

How easy was it to switch to MyTrucking?

Piet found the switch to MyTrucking very easy. From a management perspective, they were all over it in just a couple of days. They trialled the programme selectivity to test its benefits before rolling it out across the business.
