eInvoicing now available on Xero

Einvoicing

eInvoicing is a new way of invoicing that can unlock huge benefits for your trucking business. It’s available now on Xero.

eInvoicing is the digital exchange of invoice information directly between accounting systems, even if those systems are different. It’s not the same as emailing a PDF – you no longer need to manually enter invoices into your accounting system, or send paper or PDF invoices.

eInvoicing benefits for trucking businesses

Faster payment and improved cashflow

Get your invoices paid faster. Currently in New Zealand, it takes an average of 25 days for a small business to be paid. Sending eInvoices straight into your buyer’s accounting system means money in your bank quicker.

Spend less time on admin, and more time running your trucking business

eInvoicing saves businesses time and money. It costs businesses around $26 to process a paper invoice and $23 for an emailed PDF invoice. In contrast, it costs less than $10 to process an eInvoice – due to time saved by reducing manual handling.

If you already use the Z Energy or BP invoices feeds into Xero, eInvoicing works the same way, but for every other invoice you receive (if that business is eInvoicing enabled). Imagine how much time you could save on manual data entry if more invoices came through automatically.

No more invoice errors from manual data entry

At the moment processing invoices is manual, inefficient and error prone.

eInvoices appear automatically in your accounting package. Invoice data is accurate, and you save time by eliminating manual data entry and chasing missing information.
