And with the turning back of the clocks, autumn is officially with us. Hopefully, some much-needed rain is on its way to drought-stricken areas of the country soon!
2023 ended on such a high, right in the middle of a bit of a transition period. A new General Manager, new team members, and Nikola making the big move to Australia. You’d think we’d want to breeze into 2024 quietly and gently, Absolutely not! 2024 has some BIG goals ahead for us to achieve, we are here to be disruptors in the software world after all.
General Manager Tony says, “My decision to join MyTrucking in the last quarter of 2023 has proved to be the right one in so many ways. It’s fantastic to be back with a business that puts it’s customers at the forefront of everything that it does, with a team that is dedicated to delivering value and service in every interaction. Leaving Auckland traffic behind wasn’t a bad outcome either. The rest of this year holds much excitement for MyTrucking and our customers, with some big developments in the pipeline from our production team.”
The team have been out and about at industry events this year. The 2024 Livestock and Bulk Carriers Association of NSW conference in Wagga Wagga, The Teletrac Navman TMS Conference 2024, and our course, the 2024 TuI Brewery Truck and Show. Nikola, Matt, Nat and Tony have loved being able to catch up with customers and industry partners at these events. Head over to our social media pages for some photos and highlights from these events.

Celebrating 10 years in business!
One thing to know about the MyTrucking team is we work hard, but we also play hard. And celebrating MyTrucking’s 10th birthday was just the occasion to get our party shoes out!
An amazingly planned scavenger hunt followed by drinks and a BBQ was the perfect way to mark the occasion. Best of all, we got the entire team together for it ( not easy sometimes!).
We penned some thoughts on making it to 10 years in business but to sum it up in a word – grateful. And we can’t help but wonder what the next 10 years will bring.
Team updates
- Nik does Australia: Nikola hit the ground running in Australia this quarter and is quickly establishing a great base for MyTrucking there. “Being back in Australia has been a superb start to 2024. I have been out on the road across Victoria and South Australia seeing parts of the country I haven’t seen before, meeting new and old customers along the way. I also attended the LBRCA conference in Wagga Wagga, which, as always, was enjoyable and gave me a chance to catch up with customers and listen to what is happening in the rural transport industry. I look forward to what the rest of 2024 has in store for myself and our customers.”
- Good Trucker Award Q1: Crystal Cranshaw! Each quarter we present the MyTrucking Good Trucker Award. It’s awarded to a team member who lives and breathes our company values and goes above and beyond for our team and customers every day. Crystal is an integral part of the MyTrucking team. She does a bit of everything from sales, support, and marketing support and does it all with a huge smile. Well done Crystal.
